My crazy kids....

Last night before bed K was reading some books to herself. Here she is--

She is a cutie. BUT she is crazy. Just like her brother E. L says he did this too so they get it from him. She is always the first one ready for bed. She is such a good girl. Had her clothes all laid out and everything. Sorry but this is just spooky looking to me!!!

Ok. They are crazy. L is crazy. And yeah me too--yes I did rearrange the furniture AGAIN! And not just K's room--E's and the living room too. We are a family of nuts :)

Haircut and a horseback riding lesson...

First the haircut--
Brand new cowgirl boots for the lesson. Those jeans said bootcut--but they are not! :)
Learning to take care of the horse and put everything on...

Leading him around and getting comfortable with him...
Up you go!

Riding--look at that grip!

Doing "around the world" before the dismount--

She has alot to learn but she loved the lesson. She will be doing it again on Friday. We are NOT buying another horse though!

And lastly I have to show off K's fashionable attire for bed. Even she knew how funny it was!

My baby is 10!

It was a good birthday.

First, she got her balloon delivery from MaMaw P.

She enjoyed all of the presents. She got a bible cover she asked for--pink. She got a game from her friend next door. She also got a CD with real pop music--Disney radio--she can't believe I got her Hannah Montana songs when she can't even watch it on TV yet! And she really enjoyed the money in the cards!

The best gift was an ipod!! Look at that face!

I bet she was the only kid on the bus today listening to Hannah Montana, Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, and then Alan Jackson singing hymns!! LOL--Mommy's worship music has definitely grown on her and she asked for all of it on her playlist!

We didn't have a party. We went roller skating instead. She has only been once before. She loved it and got used to it pretty quickly. Daddy and E spent the time watching and playing air hockey. No wheels made it onto Daddy's feet!

I got to flashback to the 80's which I guess was the last time I skated. I thought I was something else back then...ahh..the memories!! I loved to skate. It sure was alot easier back then. What a difference 20 years and a LOT of pounds can make!!! At least I did not fall and end up in the ER!

We even did the hokie pokie--you do not need to see pictures of that! The limbo--which I did NOT do...

K loved skating maybe more than B did! Of course she got her wheels tightened so she never fell!

This boy was not so lucky. He wouldn't even try it until the very end. And he spent so much time on the floor that he tried skating while squatting--he pushed himself with his hands!

Being 10 is good! Love you baby girl!!!!

Shoeboxes!

Well I gave my little presentation for Operation Christmas Child last night at church. I just love speaking in public--yeah right! But I did it anyway--gotta obey the Lord! I showed the new video, it is pretty good. You can see it on the website if you click on the link in my sidebar. There seemed to be some interest, so we should get a few boxes at least!

Collection week is November 11-19.

I packed one box yesterday to show as an example. I went to Family Dollar and spent 13$, including my plastic shoe box. With the 7$ for shipping, that is only 20$ to bless one child and share the Gospel! Come on, pack a box with me!!!
