The kids all voted. B voted last week at school. The fifth grade picked McCain. She thinks her classroom was unanimous for him. The sixth grade went for Obama.
E's class voted today also. Obama only got 2 votes there. E says Obama "looks weird".
I am not sure who won kindergarten but K picked Obama. They gave them a weekly reader paper. It has pictures of both candidates. Obama is smiling bigger and he looked nicer so she picked him.
I think kids are funny. I think it is interesting that my kids are actually interested in the election. I hope the grown ups voting have better reasons for picking their candidates than kindergartners do. I have my doubts sometimes.
Anyway I hope you voted today.

Hey Stef...proud of your kids for getting interested in the election. It's better than the super bowl! LOL That is if ya don't like football. LOL...Yes all of us voted...Looks like I'm with the 5th grade this time...with their choice. People should vote...and not vote neutral ya know. That's kinda like being luke warm, don't ya think? Just my opinion. Yes I do hope adults pick a better reason than how someone looks to vote for them LOL. Glad you voted. Makes you feel better in some ways ya know...after all it is our right. Well ttyl guess we'll find out who wins soon. LIke i said it's better than the superbowl LOL...but not really. Nite' STef
A.K.
Hey Steph,
I love hearing about the kids. Carmen and I get a kick out of some of these stories. Yes I voted. You probably know who for too. ; ) I think I was trying to convince the entire Sunday School class at Branchland that the one party that we had been taught was the right party was actually the wrong party. lol
Take care and we love you guys.
Steve
