Bluebonnets are the state flower here. Luke had been making fun of me for getting excited every time I see a patch of them. I admit that when we first got here I couldn't figure out what the big deal about them was either. Maybe it just means spring is here. Maybe it is just a Texas thing. Finally, a few days ago Luke said he had never really looked at them before but they are pretty. He is the one who pulled over beside the road Sunday so we could get these shots.
I could probably leave these on my blog header at least until we move because bluebonnets make me happy. Every time I spy I patch beside the road, it just makes me happy.
This funny face makes me happy too. He was sure that one of those eggs was lucky. He was wrong.
And this face makes me laugh. K does NOT like peeps. Can you tell?

Very pretty pictures! ha ha...i have some maryjane shoes just like B's! hee hee Yes E does have a funny look on his face. Very cute!!! Those are pretty patches of blue flowers and make a great background for family portraits! Those look like the pros! I can tell K hates the peeps...they are a little too sugary for me, and besides they're too cute to eat!!! However they would be good roasted!...but that would seem to cruel to do a peep that way LOL. Great pics.
