Yes, it's me

I am tired and should be getting ready for bed. But I never have time to blog lately and that Mother's Day post still at the top is driving me crazy.

Today I cleaned and ran around like crazy getting ready for a house showing that ended up not happening. I hate that! I get so frustrated getting ready for buyers who never show up. It will happen when it is supposed to, I am just impatient most of the time.

Saturday the kids and I went to Fredericksburg to shop and look around. It is a really cute old German town a couple hours from here. It has tons of shops and historic stuff. Right outside of town they have Trade Days one weekend a month (it is a flea market) and we stopped there first. We all got something. K wanted a little stuffed cat and when I made her ask the lady how much they were, the lady gave 2 of them to her for free. They had a sign for a military discount for Armed Forces day and when she found out we were a military family, she would not let K pay anything! Very nice, even though her price started at $4 for both.

After the flea market, we went into the town to eat lunch. We found a German restaurant that had American food because I wanted the atmosphere without me actually having to eat German food. E did have some kind of sausage sandwich and B had German potato soup though.

This is a picture of the cuckoo clocks in the restaurant I took for Mom to see. It wasn't supposed to look like a bunch of blurry blobs...

After lunch we shopped until we couldn't stand any more! They don't look very happy here because they were hot and tired! Don't let them tell you they didn't enjoy it though because they all came home broke.

We thought this tricycle was adorable. Forgot to see how much it cost.

The five and dime store drove me crazy and I tried to get out of there as quick and I could. There were way too many people and way too much little junk, it made me nervous! B liked a few things though...

I really wish we had gone to this place when Luke was still here. It was really nice and I would have liked to look around more. I also wish I had known about it before so I could have taken Mom when she was here!

Okay, now that the Mother's Day post is gone I really need to go! Tomorrow is the last day of PWOC for this year. I have to get up at 5:30. Tomorrow I give up my board position. It has been very interesting and I will miss it. I am glad to have the responsibility over with for right now though. I am ready to start getting things ready to move! I am trusting that this house will sell soon!
