We went shopping in town. We went to a fair that had crafts. We went to my favorite "junk" store. We even went to Austin--well almost, right outside of Austin to Ikea and the outlet mall.
At the fair B and I got army purses. They are so cute. B got 2--one for a purse and one for a backpack. B has more purses than anyone I have even known and she is only 10. She doesn't even need a purse yet. :)
My favorite thing that I got while shopping was a dresser for K. She has not had one before. When she shared a room with B, they shared a dresser. And here she has had her clothes in plastic drawers in her closet--she has a walk in closet. Her room is so small that we figured a dresser was too big anyway. But at the "junk" store--(it is really like an indoor flea market) I found the cutest small dresser. It is solid wood, very well made and in good shape. It is very cute and fits perfectly in her room. As soon as we got home--even before I had a chance to wipe it out--she had gotten all of her clothes out and was putting them in the drawers all by herself! She is very proud of it. Me too--it was only 49$.

Hey Stef, glad to hear you had fun shopping. Shopping is fun when u have success shopping and find nice things. I love the chest, very cute!...i love white. As for B and her purses, well I am definitely a purse junkie! I counted 25 so far! Some of them were given to me, some I bought, not real expensive purses, but I like them. I've got a camo purse that's cute too! I like B's too! I made me a purse the other day Stef, got bored and sewed me one together after cutting the pants legs off of some jeans of mine, I used the material that was left to make a cute denim purse...plus made a wallet too...i'll send ya a picture of them later. It's kinda fun...but anyway glad u had a good time...I'd say that you all have lots of nice stores in TX!...sounds like fun!...Well thanks for sharing those pics! TTYL
