After 20 minutes of warming up the car this morning, it still looked like this. (You can click on any picture to make it bigger.)
The doors were frozen shut (except for the driver's side door).
I know we have a scraper someplace but I could not find it in the garage. So, we were forced to walk up to the bus stop. Wow it was cold!!!! Another mom on the street drove me back home. It really isn't very far at all to the bus stop but we were freezing to death. Our winter coats are really not winter coats--for Texas they will do most days. It is amazing how quickly you get use to warm weather!!These are some pictures I took about two weeks ago when we had some freezing rain during the day--it was gone before school got out that day. I was messing around with a new camera, trying to figure it out. I thought these were pretty...

Yep...i feel as sorry for you guys as I do for us...we had an ice storm too!!!! lol...funny thing is Stef...I also took pictures of the car with icecicles hanging off the car mirror! and that one picture of yours of the tree looks just like the same picture I took yesterday! It also looks like the same bush. It was also hard to walk in...crunchy...those are neat pictures...our car looked like a glazed donut...just like yours...with little ripples in it...it was neat looking. It's like everything was frozen in time. Thank the Lord for the Sun....and "The Son" to shine...or we'd all freeze. Ya'll need to go Winter coat shopping. Goody's is having a closeout sale...maybe ya'll can find one there. They are closing down all the Goody's stores around here...I liked their clothes...(some of them) Well enjoy the blog...may send some pics later. By the way...K's drawing looks like Jesus on the cross! Someone must be teaching her well.
A.K.
