Weather

We did have a little of the bad weather here last night and this morning. We had an ice storm but it was not bad at all at our house. They decided yesterday afternoon that there would be a two hour delay for school.

After 20 minutes of warming up the car this morning, it still looked like this. (You can click on any picture to make it bigger.)

The doors were frozen shut (except for the driver's side door).

I know we have a scraper someplace but I could not find it in the garage. So, we were forced to walk up to the bus stop. Wow it was cold!!!! Another mom on the street drove me back home. It really isn't very far at all to the bus stop but we were freezing to death. Our winter coats are really not winter coats--for Texas they will do most days. It is amazing how quickly you get use to warm weather!!

I know all of you in WV really feel sorry for us freezing here. But, my kids would almost kill to play in some snow right now!!!

Oh well, it will be back in the 60's on Friday... LOL
