It is a great place to play legos power miners.
I am trying not to think about all the dirt making it back inside with the legos.I love it when the kids play outside. And there is just something about boys playing in the dirt that I like.
Today they were running and climbing up the rock pile though. I hope I don't end up with another post for Steve with broken bones...
And this simple is title is just for you Amy!

LOL...hmmm..no posts with head, shoulders, knees and toes yet...but your blog is like a box of choclates...as forrest gump best says it..."ya never know what you're gonna get! lol..but the recent post is interesting lol...
i really like your Reading the Bible through in 90 days! wow...that's funny because i'm only in Deut. (had a time making it through Levitcus, Numbers (whew!)...all those names...and all those "ites" lol...i never thought i was gonna make it through all those burnt offerings...with the horns, heads and everything else...(no disrespect to God's word whatsoever...It's amazing what is actually in there. There's some pretty cruel, crude, radical things that took place in the Bible...especially in Judges!
I had been following an old Bible reading plan i had for a while...but i like the way the 90 days program sounds...plus you can review later...and just read through it first. Hmmm 6 pages in the morning and 6 pages at night. That would work...not too hard huh? I'm like you...I want to know everything that is in the Bible...and i've read most of it...just not all of it in it's entirety...I'm lousy remembering all the numbers to the verses!
I have a Jimmy Swaggart Expositor's study Bible (king James) that helps me understand some of what I'm reading...Did ya know that when the Priests made the ark of the covanant...that the golden laver...was made out of some of the women's "looking glasses" or mirrors that they donated in the making of it. Pretty cool huh? Lots of interesting things in there...you'd like that Bible...get ya a copy...it really helps you understand what is going on.
Anyway maybe we can share what we learn through our Bible reading. One thing I read in Numbers recently was about Balaam. It was kinda funny actually to think about...He hit the donkey...the donkey spoke...and Balaam began talking to the donkey just like it was a normal everyday occurence...(kinda like the Dr. Dolittle movie...where you talk to the animals) lol...interesting thought. That was a neat story. Ya know...i did forget that E's name was in the Bible...there are some surprisingly modern names in the Bible we have looked over. Jason is in the Bible...and Chloe...and L !!!! I'm sure L will like the Bible reading plan.
I heard a true story this evening...about a man who was in the army...and he memorized the 91st Psalm and quoted it everyday while he was in war...and none of the men that was under him or himself were harmed during that time...I guess because of God's power that is in that particular Psalm...thought i would share that with you and L....that is really neat. I've always loved the book of Psalms. LIke you, Psalms is one of those books that really feeds me ya know...something you can really relate to. Go to walmart and get Donnie McClurkin's sermon CD called "Valley of God" and he takes you into the 23rd Psalm...the best way i've ever heard it..and it's anointed. Check it out sometime...you'll never see the 23rd Psalm the same again. Well i've enjoyed your post and like your house too, just didn't get to tell ya. It's like a little country doll house...very cute! ttyl
A.K.
