Wild animals and wild kids

This week is spring break. Yesterday we had to go to Austin for an MRI on B's jaw. Since we had to drive all the way down there, I made the kids go outlet shopping with me. To make up for that, today we went to the zoo in Waco.

It is a pretty good zoo. Not very big, but still good. The kids enjoyed it very much.

This picture was almost at the end. B looks a little bored by now.

She just looked so cute sitting up on that fence.

And I love this picture of E.

Here you get a rare picture of me. Don't laugh at the hat!!! It kept me from getting burned.

This is K's rhino face while in front of the rhinos. B and E use to say she gets mad and acts like rhino--I don't know where they came up with it. This is her mad face she says.

We need one of these in the back yard.

In one aquarium part...

Just a cute one.

The otters are one of my favorite things. This slide that went through the otter tank was their favorite part. The barely even watched the cute little otter play.

It's a bear!

Maybe they should put these wild kids IN the zoo...

We were all so COOL...

Okay mamaws, don't forget you can click on the pictures to make them bigger!

Steph, we like zoos too. Anytime we go on vacation, if there is one close by, we try to stop. When you guys get to come back, there is one in Ashboro NC. It is like a 2 mile walk from one end to the other. Fantastic zoo. Probably the best one we have ever been to. How is B's MRI results?

NICE PICS STEF!!!! You Texans get all the good stuff! Ya'll get 2 C elephants...and lions and tigers and bears, OH MY!!!! Hey the otter slide looked fun...i woulda have signed up for that one!...That would have been otterly fantastic! I like the picture of E by himself. I also like the one with K, B and E with their shades on...pretty "cool" for sure!...Too late though Stef....It did make me smile pretty big when I saw your hat! LOL....sorry. You need a cowgirl hat. At least you didn't get burnt!!! I'd look like a lobster if I stayed in that Texas sun too long! Is the sun bigger in TX too? lol Isn't it amazing to think that the same Texas sun you look at everyday (except for when it's cloudy)....is the same sun we West Virginians see too!...and all over the world. That always boggles my mind. It's like in different places at once...just like the "SON" is. He's everywhere at once! Pretty neat. Well there's your thought for today. LOL....nice hat Stef...hee hee....well thanks for sharing those pictures with us...i'm sure the kids' mamaws enjoy them very much!
