More yard work for me

I really should have known better. I made the mistake a couple of posts back in mentioning that it was only a few weeks until Luke comes home. That was the first time I have started to count down.

I really should know better by now. Last time, the same day the kids said at the bus stop to all of the neighbors "Daddy will be home in 30 days!!", he called to tell me he had gotten extended.

Well. Yeah. It may be the first week of June now before he gets home. Maybe not that long, may be. We will see as the time gets closer.

He sent me these pictures this morning. I did ask his permission to put them on the blog--because he hates pictures of himself and he does not like being on the blog at all. He said ok, but not the one by himself because he was talking and looked funny. Yeah, that is it right below. He looks fine. You can't even see him that well anyway.

He also said "Just don't embarrass me or anything--like none of that my hero junk." Hehehe. He is not able to access the blog anymore. So here I am sharing my hero with you!

sorry to hear about L's extension. We'll just have to pray even harder! He looks like a Hero to me! Ooops I said the H word...HERO! uh-oh! Stef you said it too! ha ha...you can't even see his face with all that gear on. Is that someone's muffler in the road that fell off something? LOL Just wondered...Well...anyway tell L we'll continue to keep him in our prayers! God bless L and all of our heroes! Ooops said it again. Aren't you glad that you don't have to have DSL to get a prayer through to God...or dial up for that matter...God is instant on...hearing our prayers even when we feel like they don't get off the ground. Well thanks for the photos...love and prayers,

A.K.
