School's out school's out...

School's out for the summer. I keep hearing a song in my head that says that. I don't know the song but I can hear that part, and it may be a heavy metal song. Do you know it? Yeah I keep thinking the "teachers let the monkeys out" rhyme too.

I am glad school is out. I am tired. So tired of waking up at 5:50. Tired of making lunches and yelling at kids to hurry every morning.

But they have only been home from school for about 3 hours. I have already laid down rules for very little TV this summer. E has been complaining that he does not know what to do. E has also complained that it is not fair because B is already making plans to spend a day with one of her friends. B has spent too much time on the phone already. Can I do this? Can we do that? Sleepover? They called the other girl's mom like 3 times to ask her questions. Complaining, whining, begging, pleading. 3 hours.

It is going to be a long summer. I can tell already.

Wow, I didn't know you were into heavy metal head banging songs Stef!....what else don't I know about you? LOL U sure are full of surprises!!! hee hee Haven't heard the "teachers let the monkeys out" yet, but have heard the song, "Who let the dogs out" LOL...You should get a gold medal for having to put up with 3 kids whining and begging! lol....those are great pics of your kids pouting from bordom! hee hee...K's is the cutest of all! How tweet....If they were in WV, they could at least do some mountain climbing and have a little adventure...and eat their lunch behind a nice, shady oak tree. Oh, but then they could risk getting poison ivy and spreading it to one another which would give you something to whine about! :) or risk falling down the hill...giving you the thrill of knowing what it is like to take them for a doctor's visit again. Have you tried Nintendo Wii yet? E could play baseball and stuff on it, it's great for rainy days or days when there's just nothin' to do. It's also exercise too! The boxing and baseball really burns those abs! The tennis is fun. Just a thought. I actually like the golf on it...and I am not a golf person. Hope we get to see you this summer! I want to hear L preach again!!!...and give you a hug! as well as the kids who have probably grown taller than me at a soaring pace I'm sure! ttyl...enjoy the blog. :)

A.K.
