Well I hope you guys do not get tired of me not posting and stop coming to check on me. I meant to write yesterday but the computer messed up again and I just got it fixed again.
I am already having a frustrating week. Saturday the computer problem was the virus protection deciding to stop letting me on the internet completely. After hours of tech support and messing with areas of the computer that I do not want to know exist, all I had to do was completely disable the virus protection. Of course that is not good, but I don't feel like calling that company and messing with them yet.
On Sunday, K woke up with pinkeye. I had a little bit of leftover medicine for that, but we had to miss church. B went to church with a friend and then played with her for a while. She came home insisting that her wrist was broken. She had hurt it the day before while doing handstands and cartwheels, but said now it hurt even worse and even moving her fingers made her cry. So at 6pm, we headed to the ER.
The ER we go to is very small and usually not busy. I decided to let them check out K's eye too so we would not have to miss school just to get more medicine. In Texas, doctors are not allowed to call in meds at all. You HAVE to go for a visit to get meds. That can be very annoying sometimes.
B got her xray and was told it was just a sprain and wrapped up with an ACE bandage. K was given her prescription and we were back home about 8. Annoying, but at least no one had to miss school for a dr. visit.
Yesterday I was on the computer and it was fine. Then a few minutes later no response from keyboard or mouse. Reboot. Keyboard failure. AAAGGGHHHH!!!!! I hate computer problems. I told Luke about half the reason I am married to him is so he can take care of the computer, cars and yard. Well, that isn't really true (when I married him we did not have a computer or a yard and barely had a car), but it is certainly something I depend on him for and am getting tired of dealing with by myself. Two more months to go, two more months....
After some time today, a few minutes on the phone with Dell support and some unplugging and replugging, everything is perfect again. I am so addicted to the internet, it is a shame. The kids had to take lunch to school because we did not have a new lunch menu (new month) and we could not get online to check weather when it was time to lay out clothes. They are as bad as I am.
Yesterday before I had computer problems, there were several things I was going to write about but they all left my head. I will have to think about that and try again tomorrow. Right now I still feel slightly grouchy because of my rough few days, even while knowing how absolutely blessed I am to have such minor problems. I think I need to go read my bible for a little while and have some lunch.

Wow...interesting post...hey u busy mom...can't post all the time! Did miss it though. I remember having pink eye...couldn't hardly get my eye open...rough stuff...hope K is beter. The doc used to give me that pink bubblegum medicine...oh it tasted sooooo good! hee hee. Anyway glad B's wrist isn't broken. Maybe you should have named this post "Eyes, wrists and bandages" ha ha....glad everything is ok. Oh I despise working with Anti-virus programs! Arrrrrggghhh! We have 2 computers...we wanted to keep both computers on the same phone line with the same internet service but they wouldn't allow us to do that...you have to pay for extra account and anti virus so we will cancel it. That's baloney. Computers are very annoying sometimes but such a blessing as well or we couldn't keep in touch with our friends! :) You gotta have that! Aren't you glad we don't have to pay for a connection to God? He already paid it! What amazes me is how he gets all of our instant messages at the same time and responds to all of us! Wonder what kind of prayers God hears. A child may say, "Lord please help my little puppy to be ok" or a mother of 3 may say Lord, please don't let B have a broken wrist!...and please help K's pink eye!...Argggghhhh! and please help E to grow up and be a great man of God! and please bring my hubby home soon!....someone may say, "Save me Jesus" and so on and so on....hope you are laughing by now. hee hee Oh well, anyway hard telling what God actually hears huh. Keep standing sister and keep the faith...your hubby will be home very soon! Keeping L and you in our prayers and thoughts. How can i not? I got a boot to look at every day that reminds me of ya'll....hee haw...yippie ky yay! LOL
A.K.
